it doesn't matter that much to me as long as the person is not a complete dumbass and is of legal age.

There's a limit on how far you can go above or below your own age. Example: I'm 18 and I wouldnt date anyone older than 22 and no one younger than 16. But if youre like, 30 then you could date a girl that was like 35 or 25. Ranges are diff. based on age.
