I have two or three weeks to travel to Asia in December. Any advise?

Philippines.. lots of things to offer.. shopping they got big malls tht offering branded products and there are lots of tiangge that sells cheap goods... if u a nature lovers.. lots of beaches and mountains to trekk.. and if u planning to have ur vacation take advantage of the Mt. Mayon volcano erupting... its givng a spectacular show with the lava flowing...

Most countries in Asia is worth a visit. The cheapest countries is Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand. All countries have travel agencies who can take care you. Thailand is most visited, but if you like to see places not full of tourists, then Laos and Myanmar can be a choice. If it is your first time in Asia, then visit Thailand. Take some days in Bangkok first and visit Grand Palace, Chinatown, some markets, boat ride on the klongs..etc. Also try visit "River Kwai" or maybe some islands in the South. Phuket, Koh Samui etc - or if you really like something nice, the island Koh Tao http://www.on-koh-tao.com/ Mini busses go from Bangkok to this amazing island every day.
Also remember, that while you are in Bangkok, fly tickets to Siem Reap/Cambodia to see Angkor Wat http://www.sacredsites.com/asia/cambodia/angkor_wat.html
is sooo cheap, and takes only 30 min. Try bring home some memories who is not the usual ones. All agencies in Bangkok can help you about this.
Try from start to plan what you want. Relax, beaches, city life, sights.

U can go to Phuket, Krabi in Thailand (they have beautiful beaches and cheap bargains but make sure u bargain at least 60-70% of what they quote u) and then head down to Malaysia.. U can go to langkawi and vist KL.. Avoid Terengganu in M'sia coz its monsoon season. Then u can come to Singapore.. While in Singapore, u can take a 45mins trip to batam or bintan..

Try country that is safe and stable. Year end are tourist season, also the terrorist look for target season. Maybe avoid countries with extreme muslims.

i spent 3 weeks there last year
based in singapore but went to hanoi bangkok and phuket
it was really great tho bangkok is really really busy so stay away if that bothers u
