No. It has no effect. Insulin must be injected.

Insulin is not an oral drug, as it would immediately be inactivated by stomach acid/first pass effect of liver before it had the chance to do anything. If it worked orally, NO ONE would inject, believe me.

No, it is not the same. being a diabetic for 14 years I know this. Hopefully one day they will comeouth with that insuling breathalizer thing though. But for now just keep on injecting Ive found for me the leg is the best. least amount of pain and soreness

I didnt think it did, i prefer the injections, are u just a newly diagnosed diabetic or just new to the insuling and not fancying the idea of injections - if so dont worry about it you will get used to it eventually!
