Yes all things are man made or naturally occurring Religions are man made and reflect the beliefs of mankind only. Religions were born of the need for mankind to believe in something greater than himself. In the past mankind has resorted to sorcery witchcraft etc. for protection or safety from spirits. If one takes a purely scientific approach then science based in fact does not recognize God or the beliefs rooted in religion. Science only acknowledges things which can be proven. Religions in themselves have conflicting beliefs with only one central theme and that is the existence of a supreme being. I prefer to believe in the supreme being because something needed to be done or caused to be in order for the universe to exist anything beyond that is pure speculation and I personally rely on science for my answer because science in order to exist can be proven.

I both agree and disagree with you. I believe that there is some great power in the world which keeps it in order and turning. Call it God, Mohammed, Buddha, or whatever else - it's the same thing, different religions name it differently. Some people have the power to see more than the ordinary men and women. These people are the leaders, the inventors, the poets, the artists, the musicians. They communicate with this great power, they understand its messages, they translate them to us. It takes an open and clear mind, free from conventions and cliches, to see that. If you read Emerson's essay "The Poet", I am sure you'll understand better what I mean. So, yes, I agree that all this religious stuff is man-made. It's all about money, influence, making people think in the 'convenient' way. We are all equal, we all have deep inside us the ultimate knowledge about the world. All we need to do is to listen not to the preachers, but to our inner voice. It's not an easy thing to do, but it's worth it. Communicate with yourself, find the divine spark in you.

All the religious texts you mentioned could have been written by man - because they were all written in a single language to begin with. But what inspired the thought behind writing them ? What conceptualised these thoughts in the writers minds ? That's GOD.
Its sad to see people writing stuff like Christ is the way to God, Vedas are the supreme truth - fine. Can't we just accept that maybe its all true - all of it works. Just choose your own line of faith and be happy if it works for you.
If a burger fills your hunger then burger it is - if its chowmein then chowmein, pizza, vindaloo.....whatever. It doesn't mean one is food and the other isn't. Same thing for religion - if it satisfies the hunger in your soul - then that's the one for you. No need to debate about this at all.
Now do u see why I am clear-n-content ;-) !!

Everything in the universe follow fixed rules. This is why the universe remains intact. Mans body too is based on fixed laws. All interactive behaviour between living and nonliving bodies go according to unchanging laws. The social laws of the bees or the ants are also not changing. These laws are intelligently formed. Who did it. This perfection points to a source which is perfect, wise, with good intentions (or merciful). This is what everyone believes as God. Does this God have a set of rules made for a pleasant Human life., and for a peaceful and secure human society. This is what He sends through His messengers when necessary. But the persons ruling men distort these books to suit their needs and selfish motives. God sends another book through another messenger. This continues till god has selected enough people for a new permenent world. He will destroy this world put all the ungrateful people into a fire and admit all the obedient people into an everlasting place of happiness. We have to use our wisdom to find out which is the prevailing truth.

there is no theory of God in science? i would have to disagree with you on that, there is a little known theory called inteligent design that is now being taught...even evolution is a threory...other than that...you aregument makes no sense, are you saying that man created god? is that what you are asking if everyone agrees with this or not? if that is the case, then i would have say that i do not agree with and a simple reason is the shere complexity of life...that takes a whole lot of faith to beleive that we spontaniusly appeared...it is more logical to threorize that life was designed with all the details well thought out...for example, i am not seeing the space shuttle just walk out of the jungle just by mear happenstance...and a space shuttle is far less complicated than a person, a plant, or even a cell...

Yes. Everything is but a fiction. Even the word "God" is man-made, not to speak of "Religions". All those in Religions are man-made. Only, man is the product of Nature. Nature is the manifestation or the force itself we directly know. Beyond it, nothing, in particular, we directly know. Hence pure fiction with the duplicate "Stamp of God" in order to enforce it upon people. If man-made God is real, how does he talk differently in all religions? God cannot be a "Fool" if He should exist as is brought out.
At the same time, if we are serious about Him, it is not right on our part to deny Him simply because we haven't seen Him or experienced Him. So, if we are so serious, we ourselves have to find out whether it is a universal force or person in the first place before we understand the phenomenon in our own way while repudiating all else forth with. Let us subscribe to Truth - whether sweet or bitter, for God - if He is, cannot be against pulling down untruth. It is Truth all we should know and it lies in our own way, right from our life, so much as we can see. It is an individual path, though common to all beyond the established.
Let us admire the radiance of Truth whether positive or negative to our "imagination", as also without clinging to the "so-called words of God", dispensed - or rather sold - by Religions as psychological support to the masses.

God can not be created by any one that's why he is called as God. Truth is absolute. It is not relative. All religions are not right. After all you are a human , you think this much for the welfare of mankind then what about god?
How the world comes to existence?
Is there any beginning?
If it is thorough evolution why it is not happening now?
Can Chance+matter + time created the world?
What is morality?
Why we live on the earth?
what is the purpose of our life?

the guy on the top.... has made a wrong statement. saying that bible is the only book with scientific truth.
VEDAS ARE THE OLDEST AND THE POWERFUL SCIENTIFIC TEXT IN THE WORLD> THAT TAKES US BACK TO MORE THAN 10,000 YEARS FROM NOW. ASTROLOGY, AYURVEDA,MATHEMATICS, YOGA, SPRITUAL, ETC. ARE ALL WRITTEN IN THE VEDAS THAT IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR PARTS.
ALSO , BIBLE, KORAN, GREEK TEXTS ARE ALL BORROWED FROM VEDAS AND GITAS. THERE ARE PROOFS. EVEN MATHEMATICS NUMBERS WERE TAKEN FROM INDIA. YOU MIGHT KNOW ABOUT THE "ZERO STORY"
dear friend,
there exist a supernatural power that guides us all. a scientific man calls those things superstious which he cannot explain or understand.
hope you understand the mystery in life, that reveals the secret of a super soul inside your heart.
god bless you

I totally agree with you. Every human being is insecure about something. To give people the strength and prevent them from straying into selfish path the whole concept of God was created. Religion is nothing but way of life based on principles, these principles are called scriptures. Eventually the spirit of which they were created has been lost. It is sad but now God has become business, politics and terrorism

Agreed, all religious writings are written by people, but they are people who had mystical experiences, and furthermore, they are only to be taken in a metaphorical way. You have to keep looking for the philosophy that resonates in your soul. You will know when you find it because God, or our spiritual sources in nothing but love and oneness with this source. For example to find out what Jesus really said, read "A Course in Miracles", this book has not been manipulated by the church.
