I am leaning towards a top of white, a somewhat-orange bottom but I'm just not sure what color flooring to have. Brown? White? Any suggestions?

You would want your floor to match your shower curtains (if you have them) and match the accent color of you bathroom. Too much of one color, like matching the tile to the bottom color, doesn't really look good. Find and accent color to compliment the orange of the the wall.

If you go with orange bottom & white top try a dark green, like hunter as an accent color..or navy blue, with the 2 brighter colors a dark one would be a strong statement, but if you want to stay in the birghter colors then I'd say
lavender pastel..sounds weird but looks good together..=)

A friend of mine just redecorated her bathroom with a rubber duckie theme - bright yellow and blue.

However, if you're going with the orange, there's really not much else that I think will look good besides white. Brown will make it look like Halloween or a tribute to the Cleveland Browns. Plus, I don't think dark colors look good in a bathroom or kitchen. It doesn't ever look clean. Another bright color with the orange might make it look like a circus room.

If you like the orange, stick with white as your secondary color.

please don't choose orange cabinets - i personally love the color - but if you heart is set on it then try a more distressed/antiqued finish w/ a deeper stain on top. as for flooring, you might want to look into saltillo tiles. i would choose a 16x16, but no smaller than a 12x12. you can get them w/ clipped corners so that you can put decorative 2x2 or 4x4 hand-painted talavera tiles in pretty colors & designs (choose colorful ones that include the white/creamy backgound w/ touches of orange, blue, red, yellow. instead of a solid white counter - maybe use the talavera 4x4's to keep w/ the theme, or a cobalt blue tile w/ the haindpainted talavera sinks. to calm down the bright shades keep your accessories to a minimum & display white towels in a simple basket.

I would go with an earthy color. Maybe a tile that looks like stone carrying white, browns, orange and greens. But keep it light colored also.

if you really want a classy look, go for sheets of blue mosaic tiles in varying shades of blue, and with white grouting...it looks great with the white sanitary ware ( toilet, shower etc) or go for the mosaic tiles in varying shades of whatever colour you like , but blue looks best, and is a soothing , relaxing colour for bathroom...if you have the money to spare ..I would recommend glass tiles..they look the business!!
