Why cant military men seem to make up there mind?(when it comes to relationships)?

Dated someone for two years and he joined the marines and now he's an jerk...And one minute he wants to be with me and the next he doesnt...

One of the reasons that people join the military is to travel, see the world, and have a good time. Having a committed relationship can get in the way of that.

Maybe your guy wants all the "fun" part of the military, but also wants you. If you're both mature enough, you can make it work.

I think they all change once they get into the military. But as far as him not being able to make up his mind, your letting him dangle you around. You make the decision that your not going to be the girl that's going to just wait around for him to choose you. If he's a jerk now walk away. It will only get worse if you give him the luxury of choosing your or not.

I don't really know that this applies to all men in the military...but many have a very loose idea of relationships. I dated one and he did the same thing. All his buddies were single and players and he wanted that, but at the same time he wanted me.

well first did u ever relize maybe he is thinking of you!! I am married to a lilitary man and the only thing he thinks about while he is deployed is how to make me not worry and to make me happy. You need to understand that he is going through alot and he doens't wanna be close to anyone incase that he has an accident. I think that he is trying to push u away so if something happens u won't get hurt. But if u really love him and wanna be with him u will stick by him.

wow i had the same problem with my ex and that went on and off again for 5 years, the only time he really knows for sure that he def wants me is when i'm, with someone else, i finally noticed the pattern and cut him off , i couldnt tell you how he was before the military though cause he had already done 4 years in the army before i met him and then while i was with him did 4 years in the airforce , now i heard hes going back again

properly as a theatre guy or woman, I surely have surely finished something comparable to this earlier. From my very very own very own journey it "style of worked." lol...Military men use to have the highest numbers for divorce. Don't know if that is true any longer. I wouldn't say it was because he joined the service maybe it has made him look at things differently and maybe his wants and needs are different.

Don't think it's fair that you say "military men can't seem to make up their mine's". The same can be said for women. O it's their not there.

He is under alot of strees and probably affraid that you might not be faithful. He doesn't know what to do because of it. He is probably being an *** so he won't be so hurt when your not around. Either way it goes, nobody needs to be with some that is not going to treat them right in any situation.
