There is only one God in my opinion but I am asking your opinion. I believe you are saved by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ who is flesh version of his father which is God and who died on a cross for our sins and asended into Heaven and as the bible teaches us whosoever call upon his name and believe in him shall be saved and that you should live a life that is pleasing to him according to the KJV of the Bible (Gods Word) and I am Baptist.

Good works can not save a person's soul from Hell. You have to pray to the Lord and ask forgiveness for your sins, ask Jesus to be your Savior, and trust in him. When you die you will go to Heaven if you truly pray this. I am Baptist and have been for 30 yrs. I read the New King James Version and would never change. I have been born again and have been baptized. Praise the Lord.

It doesn't matter what others or denominations believe. I believe denominations have put a bad taste in the mouth of nonbelievers toward Christians. It matters what the Bible says.

Romans 10:9:
9For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Baptism and good works DO NOT give you salvation. God did ALL, ALL of the WORK for us through Christ. DO NOT CHEAPEN THE CROSS!!

James 2:26 "Just as the body is dead without a spirit, so also faith is dead without good deeds." --- this means if you BELIEVE, you will WANT to live a life pleasing to your Holy Father. Does NOT mean it is necessary for salvation. If we are truly saved and truly believe, we WILL live a life of good deeds.

James 2:14 "Dear brothers and sisters, what's the use of saying you have faith if you don't prove it by your actions? That kind of faith can't save anyone." --- our actions should be enough to see the wonderment of God and lead others to Christ.

Blessings of the fruit of the Spirit be with you...

I believe that all you have to do is believe in Him ["For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)] and by the Holy Spirit you will be born again ["Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17)] and after this point you will not want to sin any longer and you will stive to always love the Lord and love people more and more with each passing day.

I am a non-denominational Christian.

You have to try your hardest to make the world a better place. Be kind and civil to all as best you can, do what is right, and help others. And I won't give Biblical reference because I don't treat the Bible as anything special...its a bunch of stories written over thousands of years ago. Nothing it says literally has any bearing on today's society...
