My longterm concern with the rising number of cultureally isolated immigrants is that when the nation next needs its citizens to step up, a terrifying number will not be with us. If relations with Venesuala degraded further, how many of you are certain that all our new and univited latino 'guests' would side with the nation that has given them so much over their socialist chicano brother to the south?

I appologize for a lack of claity... I have no doubt that in the face of a third party enemy the latino community will follow the path of least resistance and join with the rest of the country. What I am questioning is where their loyalties will be if there is ever a conflict of intrest between the US and a latin american country (especially Mexico).

Ok Alberto. Lets bring it down a notch so you can catch up. Having a segment of the population that is disloyal the overall interests of a nation is a recipe for disaster. Do some homework... Lumbards and the Romans would be a good place to start. I had assumed that people interested enough to responed would have been interested enough to be well informed. As a rookie, thats my mistake. Since you chastize me for not putting the entire length and breadth of my argument into my original question I can only draw 2 conclusions. The first is that you feel your critisism is justified since you put all the appropreat knowledge you have into each question you pose. Second, that you seem unaware that this is a forum to exchange ideas and the abbility to run to the thesaurus and spellchecker is no substitute for a strong argument. I have looked at your post history and you must think that this is an effective tactic since it is the only one you employ. BTW, E4, USMC, 1st ID.

With the current political climate in Mexico, civil war could erupt there almost any time. The loser in the Presidential election Lopez Obredor is stirring up millions of peasants and indigenous Indians to support his a that the election was rigged. If he is successful they will revolt when the Government comes down on them, and then there will be a civil war. If they win they will certainly side with Chavez of Venezuela and you will see a flood of people leave Mexico for the US. I think the people who come north will side with the US and the others that stay will side with the socialists and attempt to invade the US.

Yes you do need to be a LOT more clearer on your question here. Do you mean the people in America or the Mexican population in Mexico? Besides whats your point? If you are talking about the people here in America then what do you care what side they take if America were to invade Venezuela. And why Venezuela now? Theres so many other international issues that are more important that Venezuela. YOU sound like a real moron. By the way, legal and illegal Mexicans are serving in Iraq. These people are also re-building New Orleans. What side are they on? What side are YOU on? I don't think you are in New Orleans as we speak and definitely not Iraq. I know you re a rookie in this forum since this is your first question you ask. But that is not excuse for your ignorance and your lack of academic education that you OBVIOUSLY lack. So go back to where ever you came out of and learn some grammar skills. You should be ashamed of calling yourself an American and you cant even send a clear idea across. You and who ever raised you should be ashamed of this education you lack. If any.

Mexico is an undisputed ally of the United States. There are many soldiers fighting these stupid wars in in Iraq and Afghanistan who are Mexican. The socialist brother to the south would never step in to help Mexico and he will go away soon. Your "long term concern" is irrelevant.

They would cut your throat and the throats of your children while burning the American flag before they actually fought for this country. They have no loyalty what so ever or they would fight the powers that be in their own country before coming here and demanding what is yours and claiming racism in order to trump the law when legal citizens protest.

Woe be to the people that are illegal or otherwise, in our nation that think to not help defend this nation in a time of war or invasion. They probably will be turned on faster and deadlier than our enemies. It happened in Europe and Asia and all the countries that have had war on their soil. Either stand and defend this country or be labled and dealt with as a traitor or enemy.

The fit already hit the sham! On 9/11! Wasn't everyone residing in the USA on the same side? If I recall, we could even say everyone forgot party lines and joined the war on terror with President Bush! Do you have new stuff?
