Don't lie about your age; you could get in a whole heap of trouble. They are going to check your ID and whatnot, so you're pretty likely to get caught. Also, if the government finds out that they have hired someone under-age when they were not supposed to, they could face all sorts of problems.

Most states/cities require an ABC card which you have to get from the authorities to obtain a job in a nightclub. In my city you can get an ABC card if you are under 21, but if the cops come into the bar and you are drunk...there will be consequences for you and the bar owners. The cops usually do a check once every few months or so at the bar I work for.

If you lie to get a job you can get in a lot of trouble over it. Actually if you're going to be a performer there may be exceptions that allow you to work there even at 20. If you're 20, how long until you're 21 anyway? What club? Whatever you do, do not lie. It always comes out and employers generally terminate people who lie to them. Your age will come out in the hiring process - they MUST verify it.

Yes, you'll get fired as soon as you fill out an employment application because employers are required by law to have you show a social security card and a birth certificate. Both of you will be in trouble if if's shown that you lied and they didn't double check.

Do not lie on your application. I don't need to give you a lecture why...I'm sure you know. In order to be employeed and earn taxable income your employer is going to ask you for more than one form of ID. So they are going to know you are 20.
What job are you going out for??
You only have to be 18 to SERVE and HANDLE alcohol.
Are you sure that you even have to be 21 to work there??
Go to your second interview and see how things work out.....GOOD LUCK!!! NEVER LIE!!! :)

yes, for sure! it would look and be bad if you are checked and found you were under age. the business could be shut down, fined, or even the owner could be jailed. you could get in trouble as well. also, it would hurt you getting jobs in the future because you lied on your application!
do the right thing and fess up! you want get this job but it will help you in the future!

You can get fired if you lie and then get found out. Don't you have to provide documentation after you get hired? Honesty is just the best policy when it comes to your place of employment.

Yes, the truth is always the best answer. The nightclub could lose their liquor license if they hire you while you are underage.

Yes, it is always best to be honest. Lies will snowball, then you will be caught up in a web of lies. Not to mention, you may be prosecuted for breaking a law. You don't want to start life with a criminal record.
