everywhere i go and i see a cute/fine guy with a girlfriend, she is always ugly or just not that cute. I've never in my life seen a gorgeous person with another gorgeous person. Take Beyonce and Jay-Z. COME ON! Nick Cannon and Christina Milian? HELL NO! I never see Bow Wow with someone that looks like Christina Milian. NEVER! What up with that? And all you people that say looks don't matter, in reality,they do, because would you want a car that runs really good and is crappy looking, or a car that runs good and is nice looking? I think I am a pretty decent looking chick, but I always get approached by ugly guys. The cute and fine guys that I like never want to be with me like the ugly ones do. They always want sex and that's about it. The other ones are willing to take me out and show me a good time. Can someone please explain this to me? B/c I am dumbfounded.

i dunno...im a fine guy and i wont date anyone that is not at LEAST as good looking as me...i mean really...girls who are ugly dont usually talk about or even like the same things i like...they usually hate that stuff just cause people like me like it...and the people like me have always made fun of them all of their lives...so if they dont have the same interests...whats the point?

guys are like ladies shallow when it comes to looks. When a nice looking guy or girl is with some one that is not good looking, they have moved beyond the shallowness of looks and moved to the person not the looks. If you we're so shallow and go for looks you would fine a very good guy that will be with you as long as you want them there, but you want short term relationships based on looks. why complain if they are happy leave them alone. Try a not so attractive person you might find they are the caring and wounderful person you would ever meet.

Beauty is relative to each person. I know people who think Catherine Zeta Jones is hot, but to me she is just average. Also like others have said personality plays a huge part. So many beautiful girls know they are "beautiful". The tend think they are so hot that they can walk all over anyone. Some of them think because of their looks they don't need to work on their brains. There is nothing uglier to me than an ignorant woman. A woman is a blend of looks, personality, and intelligence, and the perfect woman is rocking in all three categories!

Focusing on a persons looks is shallow and vain. This alone, is reason enough for some to despise a good-looking, or ugly person. When 'shopping' for a lover, I would recommend understanding better what makes the engine run at all (as opposed to running well). Suddenly, one's desire becomes something more than a radar for hot people.

I think that you just answered your own question, shaelynn. Those ugly guys would treat you like a queen, while the cute guys are accustomed to being treated like a king by girls. That's why you'll never score with a fine/cute guy, shaelynn.
If you want to put out and treat a guy better, you might have a better chance with one of these cuter guys. Otherwise just kick back and learn to like the nice guys that treat you good.
When you get older, you will start learning that looks aren't near as important. when you lower your expectations, you will get more guys that meet your criteria.

i've noticed that, too. don't mean to be shallow, but maybe it's because pretty/good looking people are afraid they'll get hurt, so they go after the not-so good looking people. i would say it's because the ugly person has a nice personality, but i've noticed a trend. ugly people can be a**holes just as bad as pretty people can be. personally i don't think the world is ready for pretty people to start dating and getting together, too many people might get jealous.

Maybe the 'good looking' guys you've met, are more insecure than the ugly ones. They don't want to risk rejection because it cramps their style. Which makes the 'not so good looking' but ballsy ones much more attractive and interesting!

That is just your opinion. Someone else may say that the guy is ugly and the girl is pretty or they may say that both of them are pretty or ugly. That can't be answered b/c it is a generalization.

It's in the timing. Competition for mates do not occur at the same time. Moreover, the ugly ones learn how to sell themselves. It is in their interest to do so and they succeed.
