my school has a hair code that i dislike. my mom said all schools have one. i'm not sure about believing her. help!

i go to a private school that doesnt care about length but u cant have anything extreme like a mohawk

i have a friend whose PUBLIC school says it can only be a certain length which is very short

To tell you the honest truth, no....not all middle schools have hair codes. My middle school or high school didn't, but the times are changing and hair along with it....i'm sure your school has a reason why they do it...maybe gang related, etc. Ask your mom to see your school's policy book, i'm sure she has a copy, and you can see why they have one.

My high school doesn't have a hair dress code and neither does the middle school I used to attend.

Public schools do not have hair dress codes, but many private ones do.

Lots of schools have hair codes..... even elementary schools. My son attends a charter school and the boys must have a normal boy cut...no outrageous colored hair or mohawks etc.

my former school did. its was a private school and nuns ran the school. they even take control of what color of hair ties you should use. and you're not supposed to use glittered clips or anything.

i have dreads and its okay at my school.. but at my friends school she can only wear brown hair ties! and the hair must not be "unusual" i think that is ridiculous

mine doesnt really, well for the girls anyways. the guys hair cant touch their collar on their shirts, but my brother had a friend who bobby pined it up and he didnt get in any trouble.
