In a regular level class:
A=4.0
A-=3.7
B+=3.3
B=3.0
B-=2.7
C+=2.3
C=2.0
C-=1.7
D+=1.3
D=1.0
D-=0.7
F=0.0
Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated by adding together your grades for all your classes and dividing by the number of classes you took. In other words, 2.88 is your average grade for your classes and represents that on average your work was between B and B- level.

2.88, well most college you have to have a 2.00 to get the degree and also depending on what degree you are doing for.
If it is a Master you would need to bring up that GPA. Also, if it is not, your GPA would need to increase to go further in school.
As for going out and finding a job, take from me your GPA means nothing. Just the fact that you get a degree. Employers never look at you GPA.
Take it from me I have a Master with GPA 3.87. No one every asked what is your GPA. Just the fact that I have the Degree.

The way GPA works is that a 4.0 is an A, a 3.0 is a B, and so on. So a 2.88 would be around a B-

Depends on what state you live in.....some states a 70% is failing, others its 60%...so it just depends on where you live?
I'd say a GPA of 2.88 is a C or C+.

It is slightly less than average.
P.S. If you are planning on getting into a good school with that GPA you better start working harder to get that score up.

It is a C+....still passing. If you are looking to get into college, they will probably take you with that GPA depending on the college.
