Some religions believe God has many wives and that they serve him so quietly bringing no attention on themselves but always glorifying him. Then again some religions think Mary the mother of Jesus is as close to a Mother God - since they think Jesus "is" and Mary his Mother. Some religions teach that Jesus was married. I do believe that Jesus loved and valued women and that in this day and age the feminine charater and ideal is better than its ever been. I am a single parent and I can see lots and lots of benefits to doing to alone - but I don't think you can really do it perfectly alone - if you have more than one or two kids. So...if I thought man was made in God's image then I'd think God had a woman counter part. To me the question is - does the male and female split both represent God. For example just just the "Creator God" split night and day, water and land - did he also split male and female because in this world they could not both exist. Yes I believe that. And I think we have yet to see the female perfected. so another scary question - if Jesus was the male perfected will we see a female perfected? Why are all the prophets of major religions male?

God Himself is not only a Father, but a Mother as well, since His being is not and cannot be defined by gender. He is referred to as He, but He doesn't have a gender. He fulfills all the functions of both genders and roles.

He does have one. There is goddess as well as god, they are the oposite of each other, lovers, partners, two halves of the whole universe.
Just because Christians do not recognize any other higher powers, doesn't mean they aren't there.
Father God and Mother Nature

apparently he is, a single parent who hangs out with a bunch of male angels. And he asexually created everything. So he's kind of like a bacteria or mold.

You can't add anything to everything, this is, there is nothing you can add to God's "life" to make him more of a God.

lol. i like your question! it's quite funny when you think about it that way. but I'll have to say God isn't human, he is a spirit and so human terms like "parents" and "women" wouldn't apply to him.
