dogs are alot of responcibility! they require all your time and attention...walks, playing, begging at all hours of the night to use the bathroom. also can be very expensive if they get sick or even when they get fixed. You cant go on a long vacation or even be gone for more than probably 8 hours if the dog is trained well...think about it alot before you start begging

If you live with your "pap" and he doesn't want a dog, then I wouldn't get one.

It'd be very sad if you got one and then had to take it to the pound.

Maybe you could compromise on a smaller pet?

You can try to convince him with a letter about how responsible you will be around the dog and what you will do to take care of the dog. Try to convince him.

TEll him u'll be responsible, u'll take him 4 walks, you'll pay 4 1/2 of him etc... that worked on my dad
If that doesn't work, get down on ur knees and BEG (make sure to cry, that worked on my friend's dad,) :) lol

if you have had a pet in the past, and you were goodto it, bring that up. maybe he'll change his mind. if he dosn't, think of a smaller pet like fish or something. he'll see how responsible you are, and possibly let you get a dog. (if he won't let you get fish, tell him he's too much of a controll freak)
