Theres a guy at a local store that Id like to ask out, but can only see him when hes working and am afraid to bother him. Plus Ive never had a date so I dont know how to go about asking. Ive talked to him only once before. Would it be alright to to make small talk while hes working as long as it doesnt last but a few minutes? And a general question for the guys, would you date a bigger girl even if she is pretty but on the large side and very shy?

as for your general question for guys, my ex was almost as heavy as me, i was 6'0 and she was 5'7. it wasn't a problem for me, as long as you're not constantly talking you'll be fine. about your problem, i'm not sure but i don't think asking a guy out is a turn on. guys (speaking for myself) like the challenge, or better yet the competition, know i'm saying?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there are too many shallow people in this world not willing to look beyond someones size, we all have pet hates about people, but someones size doesnt make them a horrid person, lets face it some of them out there with model figures may have that going for them but what goods that if they turn out to be little bit*ches.......

i think you should keep the small talk going for a couple weeks or sumthin, or maybe talk about a new restaurant you really want to eat at, or a new movie you want to see, and if he likes you, that will give him some ideas of where to go on a date. oh and about the whole "full-figured" thing, yes =]

being full figured is only your outside. your personality is were it really matters. talk to him at work. you can ask him about products and their expiary dates. flirt with him a little and see if he flirts back. then make a move. you can lie to him about being stood up by a friend . guys love to be the 'night in shinning armour'.maybe he will jump to your rescue and suggest to go out with you.one suggesstion, dont be scared to show your true self. be fun, happy and confident. it doesnot matter if you are curvey, guys love funny, sexy, confident women.

Yess sometimes bigger girls with nice face are in my experience sweet and friendly so no problems to date a girl like you, if you are shy try to talk with other guys that aren't attractive to you just like friends

Just get your confidence built up and start a small conversation with him. A persons size (if he's real) shouldn't matter. It's about you as a person he's looking at.

One day just go up to the register and hand him a note, say "this is for you." Look him in the eye when you do this. Write him a short note that has your phone # on it.

looks and figures don't really always matter.. (some guys like junk in the trunk etc)
yes.. small talk is fine, before you ask him out see how he's responding to your small talk, look at whether he looks at you in the eye, is abrupt with his answers, and if he's interested, you won't have to ask him out, he'll ask you
