very few EVER study the source rfile(s), yet declare to be professionals on the region of worship! What, in the international makes all and assorted think of that God desires (I.e., for my section), any human beings to worship Him? anybody, the finished determination of historic beings are as a skinny action picture of airborne dirt and dirt upon the scales! the actual actuality is; no count how one tries to curve it, we pick GOD! If we declare to no longer pick Him, we 'play' quickly into devil's palms ... God help us then!!! God does no longer pick us to worship Him. WE ... might desire to worship God. Oh, and God does no longer reason the earth's problems ... We, and devil do! And, people who recognize this, basically like to get others to by some potential blame God for it! study the books! sixty six Books by using 37 authors, over s era of c. 4000 years, and that i won't be in a position to locate a contradiction ... everywhere! Eveloution contradicts itself just about on a daily basis!

Depends on which God you mean. Not all Gods want or demand to be worshipped..
In Bhuddism for example there is no God per se.. and in theory followers can all attain the ultimate level of spirituality..
Greek/Roman/Norse Gods were multiple and represented different things..
I agree with what you are saying though - I always think if there is a God he'd be a hundred thousand times better person than any of us and arrogant/aren't I great type of people are usually pompous and unpleasant..
The God I would want to believe in would be modest, humble and with a cracking sense of humour - worshipping him or her would not be a pre-requisite..

Read the book of Psalms; there are many chapters that discuss just this sort of behaviour, praising God "in the congregation" ie large groups.
But don't deliberately misinterpret things, Jesus went to the synagogue too but he spent most of his time dealing with his fellow people and helping them in their need, which is what we are to do. "Love one another as I have loved you."
There is indeed life outside the church building!

My assumption is God has some kind of inferiority complex, because he hasn't met his parents. But he can't afford to pay a shrink, because usually shrinks are not believers. So, God cannot find one that he can be comfortable with. That's why he devised this complex mechanism by which you have to keep reminding him how great he is.

Because he wants us to be grateful to him for making us.
Organised religion is more about human fear and safety in numbers. I think that's what you're objecting to.

I think it's on the prologue page right in the front,
you didn't read it did you, people NEVER read the prologue page... damn!!!
it's that bit where it says "all characters are purely fictional and are not based on any person living or dead... blah blah..."
ALWAYS READ THE PROLOGUE!!!
