hi there today at work a girl i asked out a few weeks ago but never got back to me told me she liked to be spoiled i went out and bought flowers and choaltes for her and gave them to her i am a little worryied she will think i am werid what do you guys think (and the girls to please)

Depends on what type of girl she is. Could of been a good move or bad move. It could set you up to having a meaningful relationship with her or set you up as the chump she can take advantage of. I would say her "not getting back to you" is a sign that she might not be interested. Now if you see that change because you spoiled her then watch out. She might be more about getting what is in your wallet than getting you. Watch out.... and stay conservative. In the end you will be the one with the debt if you let her take advantage of you. Being a nice sweet guy is good just don't be too nice!

DON'T TRY SO HARD! Spoiling goes with deserving. You don't want to give the impression that you are Mr. Moneybags and attract a gold digger do you? Also, be careful of work romances. They can lead to gossip, and some companies have fire policies for dating because of that. Let this be the last contact you make with her at work. If she was impressed she'll give you her number. A smooth recovery would be to say, "I just wanted to give you a little preview of how much I can appreciate the right girl for me."

you did the right thing for trying to get with her but the problem is, this way of spoiling her isn't really it. she's asking for way more. as in buying her lots of "materials." you wouldn't want to date someone materialistic because 1) she might break your heart and 2) you will end going broke after the relationship is over or in the first couple months of the relationship.

If she had wanted to go out with you, she would have said yes the first time.. now you bought her flowers and choclates at work...

I think its a bit rude she didnt get back to you. Think its a bit rude hinting for gifts. Save the spoiling for someone genuine. seems like she may be a bit of player. You are too nice!

I think that was sweet. I agree with what someone else said though. Careful she may be a gold digger. At least she was honest but I think SHE needs to realize that money doesn't buy happiness or love!!

Yes, she will think you are weird. If she liked you she would have shown her feelings for you already. Also, if she is willing to tell you that she wants to be spoiled then she is probably trying to scare you off.

When she told you she was spoiled I think that was her way of saying its okay to give gifts and pamper her. Sounds like a material girl.
