I have two chihuahuas that go to the bathroom outside. When they are too lazy to go outside, too cold to go outside, or the grass is wet, they go in our garage. One of them goes every where. The other actually went in a cat sand box, even though we dont have a cat. i trained him when he was a puppy to do this. Now that he got older, he just sticks his two front paws in the sand and then pees and most of the time he doesnt make it. What is a better solution for him to potty in the garage? I have bought a peace of fake grass and he will go there but sometimes will pee outside of it since it is just a small peace. They have a large area in the garage to go in, Do you guys think that if i cover the whole garage peace they have in the fake grass it will be better and maybe our other dog wont pee around it ? Or any other suggestions ?

Train your dogs to go in a specific place. Try putting newspaper or kitty litter in the garage and train them to do their business there.

u should just kitty litter them for the winter.. dont fight it chi - dont like the cold... and a garage would be a great place to do it.

theyre called wee-wee pads, you get them at any pet store, and they actually are for puppies so i dont know how well your dogs will take to pissing on them, but you can try. they are actually made to attract dogs to go on them.
