This DOES NOT include preschool, kindergarden, grade school, junior high school or high school. I want to know how long in University and any other schools you have to go to after High School to become a family doctor.

college - 4 years
med school - 4 years
some sort of resident training - 1 to 2 years for fam pracs i think.

You are theoretically able to practice after med school, but most young docs do a residency and/or fellowship in the area of interest. it is not only good practice, but also good networking.

there ya go! :)

Assuming you mean a General Practitioner, you first have to take a 4 year degree. This should be filled with lots of science, including biology and chemistry. Chemistry should include, inorganic, organic and physical. Physical Chemistry is often the breaking point for lots of people who think they want to be doctors.
If you have done well and made very good grades, you apply to Medical School in which you can spend another 3 or 4 years. Hence you are probably at least 26 before you graduate. At this point you really need to spend two years as an intern, at very least, before you really get a chance to get out and make some money or practice on your own. Please note that becoming a specialist requires further schooling.
Frankly, I don't know how people do it, but it doesn't seem to take all that long before most of them they become obnoxious. The good ones are few and far between.

As much as any other kind of doctor (average 8 years). The main problem is that you will rarely be able to jump right into family medicine right away, but usually have to go to a hospital setting or something of that nature first to get experience. Then you can move on to family medicine after that experience. You are more than likely looking at 12 years from the beginning of your schooling (college) to the end of the necessary experience to switch over at least (maybe more than 12 years).

do not provide up on your targets! It feels like being a clinical professional is something that's in you and that is what makes an excellent clinical professional. that's actual that docs stay very busy with their paintings, yet in time you may start your own prepare and also you ought to discover time for a kin too. once you truly persist with your targets, issues have a fashion of falling into position. follow YOUR targets!

5 years + some practice in a hospital. I'd say 7 at least.

I think it doesn't have any time limit.
If a person completed his doctoral degree and practices he can become as a family doctor considered by the family.
