Can only purchase Ford, VW, Audi, Mercury, Dodge, Jeep & Lincoln. Thought about the Jeep Commander & Liberty - didnt really like. Am thinking about the Jetta Gli but am thinking that the interior is crap. Have also thought about Mustang and Escape. Would appreciate advice.

Jetta interior crap? you are kidding I hope. It has the best interior of any of the cars listed and the best quality. VW Audi do the best interiors in the world.
Good luck getting an Audi A3 for $25K but if you can go for it.
The Jeeps are awful so is the Escape.
VW GTi is hot, new Rabbit is great too, fully loaded $21k 130mph top speed 2.5 liter 5 cylinder Eurochic.

hmm add 5 more grand and u can get an infinite or the lexus IS or the mercedes C class or the bmw 3 series sedan or the audi A4. but if u stick to 25 there is an audi A3 with 24 as starting price. but it looks ugly so personally i would take the MUSTANG.

Must be nice!!! What's this crap of "can only buy a...."? Appreciate the fact you have that much for a vehicle and talk to a salesman over the phone to get the info on those vehicles but don't give them your name. That way if they are pushy, like 99% of them are, just hang up. Good luck!!

My husband is a ford car salesmen..
ive learned alot about the fords..go ford..the escape is a great little SUV..comes in hybrid too..!
you can get a very good car for 25K witha ford product (mazda,lincoln,mercury,volvo)
But...do NOT go VW..vw interiors are crap..and so is the german engineering...
in my opinion..id go honda/acura though. but if i had to chose..go ford
