I am an atheist, I believe religion is a part of the fabric of life!
I believe Santa is also a part of the fabric of some peoples life! I accept both these facts!
I do not believe in either of these fantasies , nor do I believe in your little fairy tale of 'some' atheists calling to God on their death beds!
Maybe a few 'professed' atheists did, but then I would consider that an act of insurance, just in case!
They were not real atheists!!
I am a real atheist, I do not believe in God, I do not believe in any life hereafter! I will die in peace knowing that I am about to enter a very deep sleep, without dreams
a state of complete non existence! I have no trouble thinking about heaven or hell !Or visions of God sitting on a big white cloud, or Satan waiting for me with a three pronged fork!!
I do truly feel sorry for all you religious folk who will actually die worrying about all the cr*p you have been brainwashed into believing!

No they also call to mum and just want to feel anything can help... It does not mean a belief in a god...
That could just as easily be the ghost or Timothy Leary or mother earth or mr anyone.
The only part of human existnce relgion is part of is when faith leads to girls having their face torn apart by stones for making love outside marriage, those screaming in pain during back street abortions where relgion holds strong and wont allow legal doctor done ones and the abuse of gay people etc

If I was in an impossible situation with nothing to lose.. I might call on jesus to save me, then allah, and Ganesh, Zeus, Ra and Odin too.
why not?
atheism is not a religion, it's not like I have to do anything to keep up my membership :-)
But critical thinking and logic tell me that there are no fairy stories to save me.
If I can run or fight to get out of a life-threatening situation, I'll leave the preying to the god-botherers and run or fight.
If I can't do either, maybe I'll sit around and examine theological philosophy

Its a call to a higher being. I've done the, if you make this go right, I'll believe in you God. But its basically a moment of weakness and desperation. Which is what we think most people who believe in God have a need of God for. I'm not disputing your faith or your need. I'm just disputing the reality.
I have often envied people with a religion, as I think it can make life a lot easier for you. Its reality that's hard to deal with.

The call to god in the last hours of a soul departing the universe as we know it , the Milky way as we know it , is a normal one as the soul prepares to depart the body it resides in .
Belivers in Einsteins and the scientific community views on the matter of life after death, have purported that the Black holes in the Sun and on the edges of the milky way, where energy regresses into them and leaves are indeed the energy comprising our souls leaving . Hence can the equation of all energy levels equate to 1. The bright Suns in all the galaxys supplying the other part of the equation with energy , by the fission process.
Hence ends our souls stay in our time frame as we know it and leaves to another time ,another place.

I never have and I never will. Don't ever doubt the fortitude of a true Atheist! Religion IS NOT any part of my existence. Can't you just accept that there are people who are intellectually superior enough to know that anything religious is a giant, ridiculous, pitiful fairytale?

No, i dont. Hence, i am a real Atheist.
Any Proof of this 'calling our to God'?
No, i didnt think so. I would face my death as the end, thats all it is. We must accept that life will go on without us, and not keep hoping for some other life 'beyond the grave'

First off there is no such thing as an atheist . People try to use that as a cop out when the real truth is they believe in God they just wanna keep doing their own thing so they say their is no God but like you said when trouble comes their true inner man calls out! Because God has put that inside us

Why did John Wayne decide on his death bed to not only wear a cross around his neck, but wanted to wear a star of david to go along with it?
