Sadly, I think that human greed, and a natural urge to protect onself from punishment will usually be a safer bet than someone who is simply trusting. This could be changed by someone though, my views can always change with proper persuasion.

A and B are the same. If A doesn't cheat because it's wrong there is some fear for wanting to do right. There has to be some reward behind the behavior. Even if it's a moral judgement it is still based on punishment.

Either way you wouldn't be cheated as long as the B person believed stongly enough that they would be punished or rewarded, and that the A person followed their moral codes well enough.

I would trust the person who has principles that they won't budge on no matter what sort of reward or punishment that is possible. So I would choose 'A'. Seems like the other choice is not really concerned about me but only about themselves.

I'd go for A) the Chrisitans. They don't fear any punishment because they've already been forgiven, so they would more likely be honest.

I'm not sure who you're refering to in B) but I don't know much about non-Christian faiths. Christians don't have to do good deeds or worry about punishment. Are you talking about Scientologists?

I'd choose B. At least his/her method and reason are clearer than those on A. There are so many social and moral dilemmas a person must deal with before s/he can say what s/he did was not wrong. (besides, i know lots of people who could turn black to white and vice versa.)

I would trust them both the same amount, you said neither would cheat me. I could probably be friends with A) though and B) would annoy me.

How about both? Someone who thinks it's wrong and knows that I'll punish them if they do. :)
