The plan is to stay while Iraq stabilize then pull out in stages.
We will stay out of the rest of the Middle East unless attacked
or unless they attack an ally. Same as world policy for dozens of years. Same as when Clinton sent soldiers into Iraq on December 16, 1998. Was it to slow impeachment or was Iraq a legitimate target like now? It is a either - or situation.
