That's gross and very irresponsible when you're feeding a CHILD!

I don't know, but let's put it in the other perspective. Give yourself a bottle of beer, now put a rubber nipple on it so you nurse it like a baby. Next have someone pound you in the a s s while you try to take a drink. Does it still seem amusing to you?

What it probably really is: Sometimes when a woman is breastfeeding the father goes through an emotion where he feels left out, or 2nd in line to the baby. Give it time you will get over it.

You have a name like HotSex and yet you still need to ask US why you and your wife can't have sex while she's breastfeeding? You should already know the answer to that one you oversexed maniac. Could it be because she's cradling the baby on her breasts and there won't be any room for you? Could it also be because she has to give her undivided attention to the baby and not to you? Can't you wait until the baby gets to be a few months old before you and her go back to having sex? I know it's rough having a child, but you have to give her the time and energy she needs to take care of the baby and plus she needs to recover from giving birth. Her energy would already be drained by this point in her life.

I don't think that it is associated with the breastfeeding. I would rather assumed that her behavior is associated with the post partum depression.
Postpartum depression can be the response to the hormonal changes and life adjustment the woman goes through shortly after childbirth. There are other types of postpartum distress that do not involve depression. For example, the mother may present with postpartum anxiety and postpartum OCD (including pure-O OCD). Symptoms of post-partum OCD include recurring intrusive thoughts, obsessive thoughts, avoidance behavior, fears, anxiety, and depression.
If symptoms are persisting i would advise to talk to the doctor.

Do you mean in this stage in your child's life? It is possible that sex is painful for her right now, expecially her breasts and she doens't want any pressure put on them.

but if you mean sex with her while she is actually breast feeding your child, then you are an idiot. She has more important things to do at that moment, and breastfeeding is an extremely important bonding time for mommy and child. Besides, I don't think the physics would work out real well...

Sounds impossible to me. Perhaps you need to rephrase your question. If you mean she doesn't want to have sex with you while she is lactating, it could be because it makes her self-conscious and uncomfortable. It could be too soon after having birth. Or it could be because you are the type of husband who will post your personal sex questions on the Internet for everyone to see. Best of luck, buddy.

Well, if your baby is really 2 days old like stated in your other question, maybe it's because her bottom hurts from pushing out a baby, she's bleeding like a stuck pig, she's sore and exhausted and leaking milk.

It's a good excuse if she doesn't like sex. OR, maybe she is inexperienced and thinks the milk will squirt all over. OR, maybe she is afraid that you will drink all the milk and not leave any for the baby.

Gee's... isn't she just so lucky to have you for a "husband" and I guess that means the child really has a great chance of having a fabulous future too! Glad to have answered your selfish question.

.... You might harm the child. She's probably going into mother mode. Even the slightest chance of her baby getting her she'll avoid. Let her put downt the child first.
