I assume you are asking how many calories do you have to burn to lose a pound??

In general, you have to have a calorie deficit of 3500 calories to lose a pound of weight. This deficit can be produced by eating fewer calories, by using more calories (being more active), or a combination of the two.

Certainly, the easiest way to do this is by eating about 250 calories less a day and exercising about 250 calories more a day to lose about 1 pound a week.

Good luck :)

3500 calories. If you want to lose a pound of fat a week, you should cat out 500 calories a day out of your diet.

I was once told that a pound of pure fat can fit into a half a gallon, and that a pound of pure muscle is about the size of your fist.
I'm not sure if that's right, however, it was a p.e. teacher who told me that.
But, in general, one pound is about 3500 calories.

I heard it was 3500. But it seems like you don't have to eat that many to gain a pound!
