I imagine Jesus would've restored him completely to life, that means his flesh as well.

Ask the ancient Egyptians who invented the story. The story of Osiris being raised from the dead by Horus parallels the Lazarus story. 'el Osiris' is phonetically the same as Lazarus.
Some of the Jesus legend is the syncretization of Horus.

The bible says he was not. His clothes were a little worse for the experience, but Lazarus was whole again. And the reason Jesus wept when Mary and Martha asked Jesus to raise him, was because Jesus knew what he was coming back to. He called him from paradise and put him on earth again.

No he was completely restored. He lived for 40 years after being saved by Jesus. After crucifixon he left for France and became a bishop of Marseilles later. today there is Global order of St. lazarus which runs hospitals and other charitable organizations in his name.
