Spaghetti w/ salad and garlic bread. Inexpensive, but also very lethal for your breath.

This is good and it doesn't cost much for the ingredients. I like to serve this with mixed veggies.

Chicken Parmesan
Serves 6

1/3 Cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 Tsp Italian Seasoning, crushed
6 (4 oz) Chicken Breast, boneless, skinless
1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup White Onion, diced
1 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup 2% Milk
1 (1 oz packet) Ranch Flavored Salad Dressing Mix
6 Slices Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 (10 oz pkg.) Spinach, frozen, thawed, drained
1 Tbsp Pimiento, chopped

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350ºF

In a small mixing bowl combine cheese, ranch salad dressing mix, and Italian seasoning. Roll chicken pieces in cheese mixture to coat lightly; set remaining cheese mixture aside. Arrange the pieces in an 8x8x2-inch baking dish. In a small saucepan cook onion in hot margarine until tender.

Stir in flour; add milk all at once. Cook and stir till bubbly; stir in drained spinach and pimiento. Place a slice of cheese and spoon the spinach mixture over the chicken; sprinkle with remaining cheese mixture. Bake, uncovered, for 30-35 minutes or until tender.

Stuffed Turkey...

Buy slices of Turkey Breast from the Deli... a box of stovetop stuffing... and a can of gravy...

make the stuffing according to the package... roll some into a slice of turkey breast... usually make around 6..leftovers are great too... pour gravy over the rolls..and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes... 350 degrees...

all you need to add is some instant mashed potatos and a canned veggie...looks and tastes like a meal that took hours... but it's cheap and tasty!

My husband's favorite el-cheapo thing that I make is ziti pasta, bite-sized pieces of chicken breast, vegetables Normandy (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots) and a sauce made of cream of mushroom soup, milk and some butter. He has it with garlic toast. It's quick and easy. When all the ingredients come from our local Save-A-Lot, I only have $9 in it, it serves four, and I till have frozen chicken breasts left over in the bag that weren't used and can be put toward another meal. That's pretty darned cheap ... and it's very hearty and filling.

Nothing better than a box of Macaroni and Cheese. Its easy too. Your boy friend will think you are a great cook.

If you want something more exotic try Twinkie Dogs. You take a hostess twinkie, slice it in half and insert a hot dog and microwave it for about 30 seconds. These are not only good but also very nutritious.

Burritos... get some tortillas, cilantro, onions, cheese, refried beans and some salsa. Let him make his own burrito (it's fun and he may have some preferences) All you have to do is cut up the cilantro and onions and heat up the refried beans. Cheap AND easy. Don't forget the Corona (if you're of age).

Ramen Noodles. They rock! They're like 10 for $1.... You can even doctor them up... add some frozen veggies. Worstechire sauce. An egg... chives. Mmm...

Ok, probably not something you would want to make for your bf... but you gotta try them.

Take a box of Mac-N-Cheese and add broccoli and chicken to it. Be sure to add a little extra cheese. Or just look on the back of the Mac-N-Cheese box they have other things you can add or go to www.kraftfoods.com
Good Luck!

chili is always cheap and makes great freezer leftovers.
brown meat (or meat substitute/veggie crumbles) with onion and a little garlic, add a can of beans, a can of crushed tomatoes, and a packet of McCormack chili seasoning and done.
