God answers to whatever you associate as Gods name.

From an enlightened perspective God has no name as what can describe what is beyond our comprehension? This truth was beautifully illustrated by the Torah's claim that he/she/it called him/herself "I Am" in effect showing that God simply just Is.

There is the Heavenly Father which is God himself. Secondly, it is His Son, Jesus, and last its the Holy Ghost which is the same Holy Spirit who lives in Jesus. It is called the Triune, meaning (triangle), which is God being first and the fact that He created the world and everything in it. (Discrediting the big-bang theory)!! Secondly, God had a son, born of the virgin Mary and she named Him Jesus! When Jesus was crucified on the cross and rose from the dead three days later, He went home to be with His Father, God! Then He Sent us the Comforter as our Intercessor, and to be our big brother named The Holy Spirit. It is the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, and dwells in the heart of every believer that has made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior. There are several names for God and I used to know them all, but my memory sometimes isn't really good. There is so much to learn we could be here all day and never exhaust talking about the Word of God! But here are some of the ones I do know....; God Jehovah, Jehovah Jira, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah El - Shaddi, etc. The spelling of these may be wrong but you can get an idea of how important the different names of God are, and they all mean something different. He is all-knowing, everywhere at the same time, and knows what your thinking, and soooooooo much more than I could tell you. You have to get to know Him by reading the Word of God (the Bible)....,and you will fall in love with Jesus because He is a re-warder of them who diligently seek Him. I hope I have helped you and not confused you. God Bless you and your family.

Yahweh is the Hebrew name of God, translated into English it's Jehovah, some argue that that is an improper translation and no one really knows, but it is no different than Jesus' name, no one knows the proper spelling or pronunciation of Jesus' name either, but the English translation is accepted, Jehovah is accepted everywhere on earth, his name even being on currency in different lands. Some people say I AM, but really God Jehovah was telling the Israelites by saying I AM that he would prove to be what he would prove to be. In other words He would be their deliverer, their shield, their rock, their crag, their God, he would become what ever he would prove to be in protecting his people as a nation.
