IBS is poorly understood. It's treatment includes dietary fiber, excluding foods determined to trigger problem, small meals, caffeine avoidance, alcohol avoidance, oral antispasmodics for the gut (such as Bentyl,) and antidepressants. Not all individuals require the same combination of above for successful treatment. It may have psychogenic triggers for some. Good luck with yours. A very gradual increase of dietary fibers controls mine fairly well.

Fortunately I've never experienced this problem, but I know of many people who have suffered with this and even after taking all kinds of medications, still had the problem. But there is a natural supplement product that works wonders for IBS and many other health issues. You can email me and I can give you the details. It is a juice made from mangosteen fruit. Email me at jiseguerreros@sbcglobal.net
This product will help and I can even email you testimonials of people who have used this juice and had great results and relief from their IBS.

ibs is from a lack of an enzyme in the gut that regulates the seretonin in the brain, therefore, why take a medication that will over time cause more issues with the chemicals in the brain, when the problem resides in the gut?

eat a well balanced diet and you should be fine with very few flare ups and drink your H2o!

*as for the above mentioned mangosteen juice-DONT buy it! its another gimmick to sell "just another juice!"
your body will only absorb what is needed, the rest literally goes down the toilet....regular juices from time to time will do the same thing for you!
