He gave you a compliment. Why should your boyfriend be mad? He said it in front of everyone so it means he was just expressing his admiration without malice.
Unless he groped you and asked you on a date too then yes, your bf should be furious. If not, enjoy the praise

It's possible that you're boyfriend is mad but he's just probably jealous. But I'm sure a part of him is proud to have you as his girlfriend. Don't worry about it. It'll pass over just reassure him that you're his and everything well be back to normal. Guy are sure strange creature.

Yeah, he could, but that doesn't mean he should. And so what if he paid for everything? He was going to anyway, right? So, he got a bonus with his (what, were you out to dinner or something)... Anyone complimenting his girlfriend is complimenting his taste in women. If he doesn't understand that then he's immature.

Dear it means that your boyfriend loves you,cuz he payed for it .the simple answer is that as long as you are with him, your b.friend is not mad.
now if you turn your back on him,and find someone else ,,,,,,,he'll definetely go mad and crazy about you.
