I have a split spinal cord, chiari malformation and fibromyalgia. I have numbness in my right leg and about 4 months ago my left leg started burning and migrated to my left foot. Now my skin on my left heel is peeling away.

Mary K, if you are truthful and honest about your problems then you are in the wrong spot to ask advice. Why don't you go to your doctor and ask for medical advice not on Yahoo Answers.
Why would you take advice from unknown people who could tell you anything and possibly cause you harm and further injury.
Don't be stupid, talk to your doctor.

sounds like a staff infection, tell your dr. you should get an antibiotic to fight the infection.
