You could go to a store that sells paint or an art store and ask for a palate with shades of grey. Otherwise, I don't have a clue. You could also watch the sky on a day when rain is expected.

they are determined in percentages..if you have absolute black its called 100%. If you add a ratio of 1 part white and 2 parts black you have 50% black and so on.....I dont think they have actual names..maybe 50 percent gradation. gradations

Not sure, but names such as cement color, ash ...., charcoal grey.....come to my mind
