I am too. But the phrase is accurate. Most media people today will distort the story to appear more dramatic. So in a phrase they Drive by the story and turn it into what they think will be a dramatic story.

Not us much as I'm sick of the term "liberal media".

But I believe Rush can be described as distorting the importance and substance of news events in an effort to advance a conservative agenda or benefit the Republican party.

Stop listening to such nonsense.

No I think it is rather accurate.

Especially when you consider how they report on Iraq. You think they are really in the streets reporting what is really going on in Iraq?

They would be kidnapped and/or shot but the few that are causing all the problems.

Ask the men and women serving over there if the media is reporting what is really happening.

This is the first time I have heard it, but I can understand it. Today's media isn't concerned about truth or accuracy, just air time.
