I have done this, but it is recommended that after you pour the bleach, you run the water for awhile; and don't do any laundry unless you are just washing the whites.

I agree about the water filtration system. You can just add a water filter to your faucet(s). The Chlorox thing is not a good idea. If you're worried about something, buy a water test kit and test for impurities or call your local Health Dept. and they will test the water for you (you really should do it yourself, unless you have the money to fix anything that they find wrong with it).

Water filters, yes. Chlorox, no.

I wouldn't do that. It might not even get into the well and mix right, as your well pump could instantly pump it into your house. Rather than do that, go to your local home improvement center and buy an inline water filter system, which removes 99.99% of impurities. I have a well and use an OMNI Filter and it works great.
