If your doctors did not consider a diagnosis of Endometriosis based on your symptoms and you had to bring the suggestion to them, may I suggest finding another doctor. You do not want someone so unfamiliar with the disease attempting to diagnose and remove it. It is crucial that the disease be accurately diagnosed and meticulously, thoroughly excised in order to reduce the chances for recurrence. See www.centerforendo.com to learn more about the importance of proper diagnosis and truly successful surgical treatment (most doctors simply perform ablation, fulguration, cauterization and vaporization on some spots of disease; specialists excise from ALL locations where the Endo may be). As for when your surgery is scheduled, only your doc can know that. Good luck and be sure to check out the following to learn accurate info about the disease:

NO, think twice!! Surgury is not the answer.
U probably need an acid reducer quick, maybe u took too many motrins.
For pain, fill a empty drink bottle with hot water and put on your belly. Put a magnet under the bottle where u hurt. This should make the pain go away.
Most surguries are very unnessecery, and could cause later
problems, so if it isnt an appendix, i would suggest dont have surgury.
