I am trying to design a website but I am the worst artist in the world. I have looked at some art that I am stealing(!!) and notice that there is a gradient of colours which is how the artist gets the textures. Is there an art packge which does this automatically? Because if I have to sit and do individually coloured pixels in Paint, I will end up in the nuthouse!

All of the programs below are free.
Then look up a tutorial on web graphics.
Also, there is an inexpensive book called "In Easy Steps - Web Graphics", $10 in the US ..... http://www.ineasysteps.com or available at Barnes and Noble stores.
