Pancha, it's headed for Florida; Governor Jeb Bush, in totally fluent Spanish, advised the people the State is ready; assistance will not be negated to anyone; Florida has many illegals as well from South American, mainly.

In the case of a natural catastrophy, of course everybody should receive assistance ... what kind of question is this? As far as I'm concerned, that goes without saying ... doesn't change my stance on illegal immigration though ... :)

Nope, they need to go back to where ever they came from to get assistance. American assistance in the United States is for AMERICANS.

Yes they should....But most won't for fear of being deported....Same thing happened with Katrina....

This is a quote from Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid:

Reid said some immigrants whose lives were devastated by Hurricane Katrina aren't seeking government aid.

"They're afraid to ask the government for help for fear of what the government will do," Reid said today. "The one entity that should be helping them, they are afraid to ask."
