Trying to burn a cd on my pc but I really don't want to purchase windows xp if I don't have to

Use the Nero CD/DVD burner that comes in bundled with the drive you have purchased.

Nero and Roxio (version 6 of both) will work in Windows ME.

I'm assuming your CD burner came with one?

I have Nero OEM suite CD for my windows Me and it works just fine for burning CD`s. and DVD`s.

simple answer to that is get rid of me upgrade to xp or longhorn when it comes out
