Depends on the guy. If it is someone just being nice and would like to talk and get to know me, then I'd really appreciate the gesture and try to get to know him in return. But if it is some sleazy guy, buying me a drink and its the wrong one, I'm totally not cool with that. Cuz he hasn't taken notice of what I'm drinking but probably was just staring at my rack from across the room. And the drink was the after thought he had to get you to notice him. If you really wish to get a chick with a drink, make sure its the right one and say something polite like I hope you didn't mind me buying you a drink, I noticed your glass was half full. That can totally lead to more witty banter and maybe even some digits if he stays smooth about it.

He better not expect me to give him nothin in return. Why do guys think if they buy you a drink that you're goin home with them. Either that, or they expect to get your number or for you to stand there and talk to them all night. Just know when you buy a girl a drink, there's a good chance that she may take the drink and walk away. If she stays to talk, you better keep buying if you don't want her to leave. I'm not a gold digger, but when I go out with the girls we are there to flirt and that's about it. We will spend most of the night dancing with each other, talkin to each other and will leave with each other. Guys are second priority.

He wants to get to know me a little more ... and that's about it ... I think it's a sweet gesture but a lot of the times women make it out to be a bigger deal then it really is ... I've bought guys drinks before ... and I've bought girls drinks before ... it's the conversation that happens between them after they buy me the drink is when I know exactly what they're looking for ... !

That perhaps he wants to come over and talk. If he expects more than that, he'll be sadly mistaken. I'm worth a whole lot more than the price of a drink.

If he just walks up and buys me a drink, I know he wants to f*ck me. If we have been talking awhile, and then he buys me a drink, I know he wants to f*ck me.

i look at the glass , see what kind of drink he bought me , expensive or not .look at him , check him out and if the result is "ok" then i consider talking to him. the rest is up to the conversation .deadbrainers have no chance with me .

He either really digs me and wants to get to know me or he's a sh*thead and is only hoping that by paying for my drinks and getting me liquored up he is hoping to get laid.

What did he put in it? and Think he'll buy my next one too?
Yes I'm kidding. I usually think he's simply being nice and wants to get to know me better.
