A friend of mine needs me to help her install a scanner on her computer, but she doesn't have the installation disk that came with the scanner. I am told that you can find the software on the internet. The scanner is a Canon CanoScan D1250U2.
Could someone help me with this.

Go the the Canon website and look under downloads on the Norther American site. It should be there. The link to the actual page is below.

Go to cannon.com and type in Canon CanoScan D1250U2 in the search box. It should come up with information.

Go to the Cannon web site and look for "downloads". search for you model number and the software will there for free.

generally the installation cd comes with the scanner or else if u dont have that cd u can try at http://www.driverguide.com

go directly to the canon site, they have software available for download. just like lexmark and HP for example
