My sister told her friend I was the dense one in the family, I'm not sure what that means. Is that a bad thing??

It means you need a loooong talk with you sister.
Dense does mean slow and not very intellegent, and thats really not the type of thing she should be discussing about you to her friends, even if it's true :)

Did you do something out of character for her to say that to you. I definitely take that as a insult. Whoever she said that around; did you look at there faces or the remark that was said back. that a clue to you if you hear it again. Confront her about this, and let her no that your scruples are smarter then her. Don't feel shame because you didn't no this. We live and learn everyday lesson in life. Good luck?

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the mere fact that you asked this question only proves your sister's point. But I'm sure you're not beyond hope. If you haven't already done so, I suggest you invest in a Thesaurus. It's a book. It's a must-have. I've had mine since 5th grade.
