I am 13 and I am turning 14 in December, do you think I'm too young to date (I'm in the 8th grade)?

Why are you in such a hurry? Do you need to define yourself with the boy you are with? Do you have your own personality?

Who are you?
What are your hopes?
What are your dreams?
Do you have desire to succeed in Life?

I am not trying to put you down, regarding dating . . . because we all know what dating is . . . especially in the 21st century . . . sex. But as for a relationship . . . you are too young for one. You don't really know what love is . . . hell when I was your age, I didn't know what love is . . . .

You can date, if you use precautions . . . but as for a relationship . . . wait until you fulfill your dreams and goals.

(Note: If the only dreams and goals you have is to get married and have a family . . . all I have to say . . . actually I won't say it . . . but you will learn a hard lesson while you collect assistance.)

Everyone hits a dating maturity level at differnet ages. I assume your parents are against it?
14 is a tough age, for kids and parents

I started 'going out' with a guy end of 7th grade, just dont move too fast and make sure your parents like him too and will be willing to drive you places to see him.

Yes, you are. Don't rush, despite what other kids at school say or do.

Wait at least 2 or 3 years - you'll be glad when you do.

try dating with parental supervision. then move into solo dating later (like when you're in high school).
