I was wondering if anyone else heard about putting a dry box of pudding mix in your ice cream, to keep it from melting to quickly, in a ice cream cake, mine always melts fast.

Leave it in the freezer.

The taste of ice cream is when it melts, but not quickly otherwise donot much taste,To keep or slow down melting an ice cream you can cover the ice container or glass with foam or rubber mat from outside leaving the top open.In this way you slow down the process of melting.Using something to put inside may change taste.

Do it in a freezer. It always help.
