I'm hispanic living in Dallas, TX where the majority of the people here are Mexican or other Latino cultures. There is a part of Dallas where they don't want Mexicans living in their neighborhood. They're saying they'll bring the property value down. Am I wrong for agreeing in this? I don't mind if someone who is latino would move into the neighborhood if they knew how to act and maintain their home. There is a huge debate right now.

You are not thinking like a racist. You are thinking truthfully and logically.... there is nothing wrong with that line of thinking. You cannot wait to see what will happen, you have to be proactive, usually if you do the "wait and see", you will have to react.... sometimes, reactions are "too little, too late". Protecting a large investment such as your home and living conditions is not racist, it is human and it is the correct thing to do.

It is more likely the illegal aliens that are not being welcomed, than legal citizens. This too, is correct. Lawbreakers and criminals should not be welcome.

I have to say that it's a cultural thing. Don't fall into the 'whitie' pit. They are so worried about their money, and not enough about being a "neighborhood". They'd rather have pristine lawns than have a bbq with the neighbors. Some whites are so closed minded that they place a higher value on the doormat than people God created. I'm sorry, but you don't have to be latino to know that whites are a little off kilter...don't try to be too much like them.

I also must add that mexicans DO know how to take care of lawn and house...what do you think they do all day for WHITIES?! They are just sick of doing it 12 hours a day! And if latinos aren't getting paid to ACT, they don't ACT...they're just themselves, and don't try to be anything they are not.

I desire I had suggestion, yet it is in simple terms existence. perhaps you ought to start a team at your college to enhance cultural information. possibly there are different people who experience the comparable way as you who may be prepared to make something like that artwork. talk on your college counselor and spot no count if it is attainable. attempt to instruct the negatives into something advantageous. countless it is immaturity; infants are mocking what they have been taught by utilising society and their families, and that they try to slot in. it is classic teenage habit: condemn others so as which you're no longer on the backside of the social ladder. we ought to start classes from while infants are very youthful to stay away from this-- to shape their little minds in a greater advantageous way. stable luck.

I agree with you. It's the truth. It's that way here too. Nobody here wants to live in a mostly Hispanic neighborhood. It looks like a slum. They are the ones who live that way and make it that way so how does that make it your fault that you don't want to live in squalor like that? You are right.

I take offense to the insults against white people. That in itself is racist that you have to say that crap. Not every white person is the same, just like not all people in any other race are the same.

As far as the topic....think with your heart and go with what you believe in your gut.

I'm pretty confident that feeling happens with all races. It all starts with PARENTING and teaching respect for yourself and respect for others. If everyone would take responsibility and do that then the world would be a much more beautiful place!!

It seems to me that the influx of Mexicans to the USA will only serve to raise the average IQ levels of both countries!
