All I read are racist remarks left and right and then people excusing themselves saying that now a days, if you are anti illegal that makes you racist. If you don't want to be labeled that then word it right!!!
And one more thing, I pay taxes, my family pays taxes, in fact, if I was a citizen, I would get money back. DO NOT come to try and tell me that illegals are costing the good all citizens their hard earn tax money.

I never said whites make the remarks, i said people do. I have no problem with anyone expressign themselves, if i did, i wouldn't ask questions. All i'm saying is that word things right if you don't want to be labeled a racist. Thats all. And about the money issue, MY FAMILY and I have always paid taxes, never have asked for any type of gov assit. and thankfully do not intent to. I have to hands to work and earn my money and pay my taxes as it should be.

oh and by the way, i am in my country. TX belonged to MEX until it was stolen. Oh my wosh! Was that a crime?!?!?!?!

Well, I'm not racist and I think "illegals" are costing me plenty of money. For example, my wife just recently gave birth to our daughter and we spent approximately 4,000 dollars for the procedure. An illegal immigrant can walk into the same hospital and have the same procedure and walk out owning nothing. So the hospital has to raise the price of its services to compensate the illegals inability to pay. I know this for a fact, as I worked for this hospital and we had meetings discussing this very issue. That's just the way things are. No one is questioning whether or not you or you family pay taxes. But the truth is that many illegals don't and the rest of us are required to pick up the slack. Am I a racist for saying this; it's the truth.

Look, personally I'm neutral on this issue, so just to let you know I'm going to speak a little about both sides.

First you're already whining about people whining. So you need to calm the hell down.

Next, taxes aren't the only thing that citizens pay. There is a large list.

Though, if you're on the other side you'll feel that our economy is almost based off of them. It's the same reason that companies outsource: cheap labour! Besides, a lot of illegal immigrants pay a lot of the same things citizens do.

Look, be open minded and see both sides. Even if illegal immigration is close to home or heart, at least study why people feel the other wray.. don't just push them away and call them wrong.

I don't see Mexico complaining it doesn't have Texas. Besides.. truthfully.. if it was part of Mexico right now it wouldn't have the same level of living. I'm sorry about how bad that sounds, but it's true and you all know it.

I can see what you're saying. Just because someone is an immigrant does not mean that they are a freeloader. Most come here to work and hopefully most pay taxes like we're all supposed to.

But, on the other hand, some don't pay taxes and some don't register with the census for fear of deportation (and it is understandable... I wouldn't want to live in the conditions these people come from) and it does cost the rest of the taxpayers. If an illegal immigrant sends their kid to a public school (and we all know it happens) that child is probably not accounted for in the census and therefore, that is one child funds were not appropriated for in the school system. So it does have negative effects. It is not however fair to say that immigrants in general are bogging everything down. Lots of people evade taxes. It's not right and the people are really only cheating themselves in the end, but people do it anyway.

That would really suck not to get a tax refund. Mine is never that much, but it really does help.

BTW, since you did not specify any particular ethnicity of immigrants and America is a nation of immigrants to begin with discriminatory is more appropriate a term than racist.

Illegals in this country are the racists because they think they are above the rest of immigrants from other countries trying to come here,they want to get in front of the line as if they are something special,as illegals they use the race card,but it doesn't work anymore,everyone can see right thru the smoke screen,why don't you go back and complain against your own government which is really the cause of you being here.And for the record,the measley tax illegals pay does not cover the cost that illegals use in health care,schooling,prisons to house criminal illegals,welfare,and the devaluation of homes when illegals move in,if you don't think you cause all this,look at mexico today,that's the type of life you created.For the record,Texas belonged to the native americans living there which is where the name texas gets it's name,and mexico just claimed it was theirs.

The only thing I know and I am not judging you is that if you are illegal you are breaking the law and not respecting the laws of this country. People that break laws should be held accountable and you are not an exception. This has nothing to do with racism but of abiding by America's laws. Respect that or leave.

You are so right Letty. There is nothing wrong with being against “illegal immigration”, but come on….stop saying you’re not racist when all you do is make racial slurs. Stick to the point at hand. And you don’t have to go back to “your country” or be legal to complain, you have an opinion…and you have the right to voice is no matter where you are.

You never said if you were an illegal or not...afraid to admit it?

Most of us have no problem with "immigrants"...those who come legally into this country. Our contention is with "{illegal} Aliens." This is an invasion (sometimes even military) into a sovereign nation. We have not only the right but the obligation to protect this country from criminals. And breaking immigration laws makes you a criminal. The definition of a criminal is someone who breaks the law. ANY law.

Get your facts straight, senorita. And by the way, it's not only WHITE people who can be prejudiced or bigoted. es verdad?

Illegals aren't costing citizens tax money, but shouldn't you just have become a legal US citizen? You wouldn't have to worry about this anymore. By the way, it's not "racist", because it's not disliking a race, just a violator of US law, those of whom are not a race.

i don't believe that being anti-ILLEGAL makes one racist.....I think what makes one racist is when they pick on a particular group of people.

My take on it is this, the organizations that hire Illegal aliens are wrong because they are hiring non-Americans to do the job for less and on top of that taking advantage of the fact that the illegal has no right to complain to anyone about it.

Oh and let me make one thing clear to you.....when I personally say Illegal.....I am NOT pointing at any particular group of people....
