I passed the car & the driver was definitely short. She could barely see over the steering wheel. But she wasn't that cute (or at least I didn't think so).

So is that false advertising? What possesses people to put ridiculous stuff like that on their plates (2HOT4U, MS HOTT)? Are the drivers delusional? Or are they just really vain?

rigbyelinor, I'm not picking on short people. I'm not all that tall myself. I was merely speculating about how tall she might be.

becca007, I've got nothing to be vain about, so I don't think that's it.

they could be delusional, and vain as well. sometimes they are just plain rude, like the girl i saw once that had "blo sum" on her license plate. she really took offense at me trying to get her attention to find out if it was true or not, that was definitely false advertising.

I can't even stand bumper stickers, which often are all over cars which really begs the question why call them bumper stickers? I'f I'm sitting at a light and have time to read, I'd prefer a short erotic tale or perhaps some nice pin-ups to most of the clever-cutesy crap I do see.

At least (theoretically) one may remove a sticker (though I doubt many do.)

Heaven forbid I'd ever saddle myself for a year with some ridiculous mini-message on a vanity plate for all the world to see.

One wonders, what if they tattooed all that stuff on their bums?

"if you're close enough to read this..."

I like how that guy put that it was stolen! (lol) No but I think personalized license plates are cool, I just wouldn't waste my money on one. I dono... everyone is beautiful in there own way and if she wanted to put 5 FT QT on her plate then fine so be it, I'm sure someone thinks she is. What would you put on your license plate? I think I would put Bomb Diggity because it's fun and I've been saying it for I can't even remember.

Definately a lack of creativity; here is the worst one I've ever seen:

1998 Camaro Z28 - Black
License plate read: blk2dr

black 2-door--are we trying to sell it?

I have one on my 2001 Corvette that reads:

3eleven

meaning indecent exposure

Perhaps her husband/boyfriend/son whatever purchased it for her as her licence was due...or she is just a nutcase, or vain, or you're just picking on short people (kidding - I'm 5 ft. tall, can see over the steering wheel just fine...and I'm kinda cute...)

I'd rather pass a car with a number plate 5 FT DK... preferrably with a hot guy driving!

I think you should report her under the trade descriptions act for false advertising.... I have B itch on board stuck to the back of my car window, which is entirely accurate... stare at me pal, and you are likely to get a string of obscenites mouthed at you with a few hand and finger gestures....

i was thinking something similar awhile back when i saw this white haired man maybe late 60s or 70ish, driving a convertible red corvette with a plate that read "fertility". little bit past the mid life crisis, maybe he was just a ob-gyn, either way it was hysterically disgusting.

Evidently SHE thinks she's cute...

Personalized license plates are a waste of perfectly good money, especially when they're meaningless, as this example clearly was.

I think plates like that are juvenile, and as soon as someone reads it they will more than likely think the license plate is lying. I know I would!
