When man creates life, (including the life ENERGY) from strictly the periodic elements present at evolution and the geological conditions (which can be re-created in a lab), then I will believe the Theory of Evolution but...
Man can't do that.
Man can't create life.
Man can only grow life from other life and manipulate that life.
I believe in the concept of evolution, as in things evolve.
Finches on Galapagos have evolved within the last 40 years (2 finch generations) to have smaller beaks because they just moved to the Island. And the island already had finches with large beaks. So yes, animals do change to fit their environment, or evolve.
As for evolution, or that life energy was created from no life energy....
It is impossible...
Energy can always be put into the form of an equation.
And although the theory of evolution has a catalyst it does not have an original source of energy (LIFE ENERGY!) and therefore the equation is not complete.
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed!
Something or Someone created us.
And in my opinion, that is the God of the Bible...

You are assuming that a person has to believe one way OR the other. I think Christians who think Evolution is impossible are hypocritical and I think those who believe in Evolution without considering the idea of God are close minded.
I am a Christian. I believe in Evolution - but I also believe that all things were/are created by the hand of God - I think it is a miracle God also gave us the knowledge of science to help understand the incredible things all around us in the world....
P.S. Those of you mentioning the "big bang theory" are a little mixed up - that theory was NOT part of the Orign of Species...two different things....Big Bang was first theorized in 1927, by the Belgian priest Georges Lemaître. Darwin's book Orgin of Species was published in 1859. You should understand what you are talking about before you answer.

ok, here's what I believe. Let's say evolution is right and creationism is right. Let's say God is SOOO smart and sooo on top of things that He, in some way, created this planet and everything that at one time was in/on it. Maybe it was created with a big bang, maybe he created it by squeezing matter together and the result was this large sound, whatever it was let's just say that He was the one who started it. Let's also say that in a similar manner he created plant life, water, air, gravity, a system of providing nutrients to all He created. He got everything started, created Mankind and got them started, then He let Man take over. Man started cross pollenating stuff, and the animals and insects started cross pollenating stuff and nature just sort of "did her thing" and before you know it, you have different kinds of plants - not ones God created Himself, but ones evolved from things He created. Other things changed too, animals, insects, even Mankind's physical appearance. Some died off, became extinct, never to be heard from again. Others just adapted to changes in climate. The earth itself changed. At some point it went from being one giant land mass into several land masses. It doesn't really matter what caused the earth to change, because it was probably several things acting in concert.
So does my theory sound like I'm an Evolutionist with Creationist tendancies or a Creationist with Evolutionist tendancies?

Proof? Charles Darwin his self said that if there were ever found anything more complex than that of the Simple cell, (refering to what he saw as a pea floating in a puddle of ooze) than my theory of evolution would be an incorrect evaluation of the evidence. Inside the cell are thousands of living creatures called metichlorine. There are thousands of little machines (for lack of a better word) called flagellen that move oxogen and nutrients to the different parts of the cell that need it. So by his own words, Darwin disproved his own theory. Besides that, How can anyone believe in any theory? The definition of a theory is an educated guess. I believe in the Truth. The Truth that I believe in has been examined and tested by millions of people for thousands of years, and in that time, not one single person has been able to find any evidence to disprove any of the Truths that are found in God's Word. As far as proof goes, check out the link below for thousands of arcitles and evidence that proves that there is a God, and his only begotten son is Jesus Christ. God Bless You!!!

So if evolution is true, why have we stopped evolving. Why haven't we evolved to a higher state of existence (referring to the human body)? Looks to me like the world is going backwards on evolution, don't you think? More and more people are less caring for others and more barbaric. Proven my foot, they are still searching for missing links. So if your so on top of science, how many years were we lead to believe Pluto was a Planet, now it is not considered one. Scientifical error strikes once more. The key words for science are "It was once believed, but now we know......." how do they know they're right this time ? They could have missed calculated once again. See human theory and/or what's believed to be fact is always proven otherwise. How do you confind 100% on science if they have been proven more times wrong, than that of Biblical beliefs?

Recent developments in science completely disprove the theory of evolution. The only reason Darwinism is still foisted on people by means of a worldwide propaganda campaign lies in the ideological aspects of the theory.
There's a book that clarifies the scientific collapse of the theory of evolution for even the lay man. It reveals the frauds and distortions committed by evolutionists to "prove" evolution. Anyone who wants to learn about the origin of living things, including mankind, needs to read it.

The theory of evolution is used to explain an observable fact, i.e. change over time.
For instance, if you drop an apple, it will fall to the earth. That is an observable fact. Gravity is the "theory" that explains this fact.
We are not in disagreement, I'm only adding to your statement.

I will believe in evolution (different from adaptation) when there is evidence or words in the Quran.
I will believe in evolution when i see A chimp or any monkey walking on 2 feet, standing up straight, with human features, speaks and understands human language, without the characteristic of the animal it came from.

If it would fill in the gaps and holes that are prevalent throughout it.
I believe in microevolution (changes within a species), but not macroevolution. (Tadpoles evolving into elephants, or monkeys evolving into humans.)
I'm not religious, but I believe the evidence that evolution offers is weak, and full of presuppositions. It takes a lot faith to believe in evolution.

To undermind belief in the creation account in Genesis is to undermind the very foundation of the Christian faith.Evolutionary theory and the teachings of Christ are incompatable.
