Why some people attack Muslims by quoting verses of Holy Quran without context?

And why Muslims should be apologetic? We Muslims doesn't care what you think of us. The problem is with the Muslims who have weak faith and try to answer their fugly questions in apologetic manner.
They try to teach us PEACE --when they are the greatest plunderer
and war-mongers. We understand PEACE--but not on your terms and standards--but in our own.
You should read those verses in their context--not out of their context.
For thousands of years Muslims did read and understand what they meant. If they misunderstood the verses--there shouldn't be any Jews or Christians left in the Middle-East or North Africa. Right?
There shouldn't be Coptic Christians in Egypt. There shouldn't be any Mizrahi or Shephardic Jews left.There shouldn't be any Hindus left in India.During the 700 years of Muslim rule in Spain--the majority were always Christian--they were not forced to convert--they remained alive. But just after the Christians took over--there were SPANISH INQUISITION. The Christians well understood the Bible for sure. Certainly, Quran condemns the unbelievers to hell-fire--so did the Bible. The verses that are about killing infidels are in direct combat or war. It's not about killing civilians. Didn't Christians kill each other in wars? If your country is attacked or you are persecuted as a group--you won't war against
your opponents? And is there any war without killing????

These days people only fallow what they hear and media is the main source of the information. Unfortunately not all of them are truthful.

People who quote verses of Holy Quran out of the context have heard that only verse and noting else , they don't go and research around it and then talk.
If people only took a few minutes thinking before they talk , they would come with more truthful answers.

I don't know the real answer...but I can guess. All religions are ran by men who are fallen in nature. Fallen men do evil whether in the name of religion or not. Therefore people will kill in the name of God to justify there evil intent.
Some people may take the Koran's text out of context because they are trying to justify there hatred/fear towards Muslim's in general. They also fear the book itself because it resembles their own holy book and they don't want to be converted by it's words. For this reason, they know only the parts that sound evil in nature and spout them with out understanding.
I believe any scripture that speaks of killing in God's name is a reflection of man's fallen state and is only there, in scripture, do to man's depravity. Killing anyone is contrary to God's nature and therefore cannot be His will. By his will He should be the only one judges and takes souls.
The U.S. is not a Christian country and it will be judged, like Israel in the Old Testament, if it does not repent as a nation.

I am a follower of The Christ and I believe we should live in peace.

I think that the problem is due to Muslims' belief and conviction to convert all the human beings to Islam. The second reason is that non-muslims do not hate muslims as much as muslims hate non-muslims. With regard to being apologidtic, the reason is that muslims have very low percentage of education, are away from democracy and economically very weak, thus victim of inferiority complex. Sorry if you do not like the comments but it is the hard fact.

And at the same time as a terrorist performs a terrible act contained in the call of Islam, visit Islamic chat rooms and mosques and demand that you and your fellow Muslims bond mutually and openly protest (in tremendous numbers) hostile to the terrorists for smearing the call of Islam. it is what i ought to do (and function performed) each and every time someone who's in a collection that i'm linked with smears its call.

its ok brother, let them be. let them follow their hearts and be what they want to do. we have no problem and we respect them for what they want to be, at least i dont have any problem with what they do. let them bad mouth and cuss at us as much as they want. i have only one answer for them or say a prayer for them.
