I thought it was just a difference in how different brands present it but today I was buying sweatshirts for my son and they had the same exact shirts both by Hanes and some were labelled 24 M and others were labelled 2T. Is the 2T acually a bit larger?

2T are usually a little longer in the pants and the torso of the shirts.

24 mos is usually a little wider in the butt, because they assume those are for kids who still wear diapers.

They are the same, in theory. When sorting out clothes, I have to hold them up to see which is bigger because there is a HUGE difference between sizes through different manufacturers!! The most extreme case is a pair of 2T shorts my son got for his birthday. They were made in Kuwait. He is 6, and they are still BIG on him. He's a size 5, but the companies that make these clothes that don't seem to conform to a set standard.

I just had my 4th child 13 weeks ago, and in the 11 years that I have been buying kids clothes, I haven't seen any difference in 24M and 2T. My three older kids would wear then inter changably when they got into that size.

Mostly it is the same thing as far as I can tell. I have seen some brands offering the snap crotch version of shirts in a month size and the regular shirt shape in the T size. For those brands that offer both sizes but neither in the snap crotch style I have noticed a difference in arm lengths (leg holes openings in shorts).

Education is good, because it teaches you how to learn, how to discipline your mind. Knowledge for a Christian is knowing the word, knowing your God, His nature, His will, His outlook on things. Wisdom is looking at things from God's perspective and putting them into action. Knowledge is great, but too much of it can puff you up if you don't counteract it with fruit of the Spirit. Ever know a person who's very knowledgeable, but has no temperance and no love? Their knowledge is almost useless in the long run. But wisdom? You find that and your soul shall live, because when you find wisdom, you find the way God Himself looks at a situation. Proverbs 3: By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew.

Yes, I came across the same thing. The same exact shirt in both sizes. I held them up to each other, and the 2T IS slightly bigger.

I think that 2T will be a little longer in the legs & arms than 24mth.But they should fit around the waist about the same.

I think the ones labeled months take into account larger diapers too, though they may not have adjusted that since the diapers got so much thinner.
