My ex cheated on me this summer and we go to the same college and he had came to party i was at last thursday. i was pretty drunk and upset and was crying and we got into a huge fight. im not ready to be friends with him or over him yet. why does he act like nothing has happened between us and that i shouldnt be mad at him. he broke my heart. can you really ever be friends with your ex and if so how do you become friends and forgive him for cheating on you?

I personally think it is difficult to remain friends with your ex especially when he/she cheated on you. You heart has been broken in a million pieces and since he cheated on you you obviously are going to feel really hurt and empty inside. However, it will get better. I recommend you healing yourself first before attempting to be friendly with your ex. You need to get yourself strong and if he acts like nothing happened between the two of you - why would you want to be friends with him?

Just take the time you need to heal and try to move on from this. Don't let his screw up make you scared to get involved with anybody else because in time you will find another special someone - hopefully someone who knows how good you are and won't cheat on you! Good luck!

NOPE, YOU CAN'T BE FRIENDS. AND BELIEVE ME IS IS HURTING AS MUCH AS YOU ARE. YOU NEED TO KEEP BUSY AND KEEP AWAY FROM HIM. NOT CONTACT AT ALL. YOU WILL BE OK. IT HURTS NOW BUT IT WILL HURT LESS AND LESS EVERYDAY
